SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA will be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed in regards to the higher number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due here to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis.
